Escaping in the wilderness of Britain in 406 A.D., the White Park breed had been considered wild for 700 years. Since 1066, the cattle maintained a long period of natural development with no effort made on the part of man to interfere. The progression of this breed was due solely to the merit of herd. Traits of survival, hardiness, fertility, disease resistance, and the ability to live were bred-in and made stronger with each generation as the weak and marginal animals did not survive. One White Park bull and five cows were brought to American shores in 1919 as seed-stock. The White Park Cattle Association of America was formed in 1975 with these herds lending themselves as a fine beef-producing breed with specifically known genetic, bred-in superiority.

We are undergoing the final testing of our ordering process. Currently Shire Gate Farms is proud to offer the consumer our Pre-Order Package, which will include a roast, ground beef, a selection of premier steaks and mix selection of the other remaining cuts. (i.e. kettle beef)

7-10 days prior to shipping your beef will be dry aged. Beyond that you start to degrade the beef and we want to make sure you receive the freshest cuts.

All cuts will come vacuum sealed and ready for your enjoyment.
